It is a stemmed variety. An average adult specimen is about 8cm across and 12 – 15cm high. The petals are blue or white with flared tips. One should be sure that the plant receives water commensurate with temperature, humidity and level of light. Fertilization during the warm months promotes faster, larger growth. It is an easy species to care for and it is prolific enough after blooming to grow into a nice clump within 3 to 4 seasons. A robust species, especially recommended for beginners.
