Fasiculata

Varying greatly in size, these start out at 10cm, whereas mature plants are able to reach a height and width of 40cm+. A hardy, stiff leaved species it is highly adaptable and tolerant of different care conditions. It produces a long lasting, handsome, red and yellow flower spike, followed by delicate tubular flowers, white at the base and blue/violet in the upper portion. Smaller sized plants are good in arrangements, whereas the larger sized plants (L and XL) are good as a centre piece for a display, or used as an individual plant.
