Balbisiana

Especially long silvery leaves contrast well with the cherry red flower spike. Because of the leathery texture of the leaves, it always appears to be on the dry side, even when watered often. Enjoys bright light, high humidity and frequent watering in hot weather. 20-30cm tall.
